VXL’s manufacturing facilities are located in Bangalore, the Silicon Valley of India and incorporate two state-of-the-art facilities that include:
- A 20,000 sq ft pressurised, dust-free, static-free zone
- Flexible conveyor systems
- Component forming machines
- Wave soldering machines
- Automatic test equipment
- Helmholtz chambers on conveyors
- Component insertion machines (axial and radial)
VXL's current production capacity is 400,000 units. All units are manufactured under controlled conditions and pass through a number of quality tests, including quality assurance and reliability, to ensure a minimum of 120,000 hours of MTBF.
With an excellent pedigree in electronic and mechanical design as well as embedded software, VXL has the expertise and added flexibility to also offer customized products to meet individual customer requirements. With a team of 35 software engineers who specialise in VC++, Windows CE, Linux and XPe, VXL also has extensive facilities for environmental testing, mechanical testing, safety and EMI testing and a 10-metre Open Area Test Site (OATS).

Since 85 per cent of the market for thin clients is in the USA and Europe,VXL has a dedicated base at Houston, USA and an European HQ and Logistics centre in Manchester, UK that also provides sales and technical support for customers in the USA and the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) markets. Furthermore, VXL also has sales and support offices in Paris, Munich and Sydney, and distribution partners in many cities around the globe.
In India, VXL has sales and support facilities in major cities, including Bangalore, Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Chennai and Kolkata in addition to a nationwide reseller network.
