VXL Instruments Ltd, one of the worlds leading manufacturers of thin client devices, today announced the launch of XLmanage 2.1 — the most robust and powerful Remote Management Software that VXL has delivered to date. This major new release gives administrators a significant improvement in functionality and ease of use and is the product of extensive research amongst VXL customers.

In addition to its existing features, new XLmanage 2.1 now allows for complete monitoring of thin clients across all platforms – Windows CE, Linux and Windows XPe - and uses standard protocols such as HTTP and FTP. The installation process has been simplified and now includes a self-test feature to eliminate incompatibilities, and is just one of many new features offered in this major release. With a specially designed automated thin client profile update feature, XLmanage 2.1 makes network deployment easier and faster, greatly reducing network bandwidth usage in the process.
